Established in 1964, Carlson Roberts Seely LLP is a growing public accounting firm that employs over 20 staff in our Drayton Valley office. We are a general-practice firm that has developed a strong presence within Drayton Valley, and other communities throughout Alberta. We also operate a satellite office in Evansburg, Alberta. Our partners and professionals provide a wide range of audit, tax and financial advisory services to the public and private sectors.

Ken Roberts, C.A.

Ken Roberts was born and raised in Drayton Valley, and graduated from Frank Maddock High School in 1990. Ken went on to the University of Alberta in the fall of 1991 and graduated with his Bachelor of Commerce in 1995. 

In June 1995, Ken started articling with Collins Barrow and received his designation in January 1999. Ken became partner in 2003. Ken enjoys reading, camping, travelling, skiing, and spending time with his kids.

Barry Carlson, C.A.

Barry Carlson was also born and raised in Drayton Valley, graduated from Frank Maddock High School in 1995. Barry went on to the University of Alberta in the fall of 1995 and graduated with his Bachelor of Commerce in 1999. 

Barry worked for Collins Barrow as a summer student from May to August 1998 and returned after graduation in 1999. Barry received his designation in December 2001 and became partner in 2005. Barry enjoys travelling, reading, and playing in the mud with his Razr.

Clayton Seely, C.A.

Clayton Seely is originally from the Tomahawk area, and graduated from Frank Maddock High School in 1994. Clayton went on to college in Medicine Hat then transferred to the University of Calgary where he graduated in 1998. 

Clayton went on to complete his Articling at Deloitte and Touche and received his designation in May 2001. After Clayton left Deloitte, he became CFO of a major car dealer in Calgary for a few years before moving back to the Drayton Valley area in 2005 to become Director of Corporate Services at the Town of Drayton Valley. Clayton joined the firm in February 2008.
